I was flabbergasted once I entered the dining room that day. Everything was fairly impeccable: comfy room, fine food, warm ambiance and invited guests' presence kept me overwhelmed with gratitude. even my restlessness caused by bad weather and floods before, faded away on the spur of the moment. Thanks God it was Good Friday holiday and we, as The Tekojar 2005's members could organize a so-called reunion after a couple of months.

We cherry-picked the venue, which was Kaliwang Resto, as the spot for us to have a blast. It is located at Singosari Street, kitty-corner across the Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic. Yeah, we know that fancy restaurants are a dime a dozen these days. That's why we decided not to choose the most remote one (another cheesy joke).

After graduation in 2009, we have arranged some rendezvous every so often. But, to gather more than 20 participants, it's only once in a blue moon. One of them was this event. As you can see from the snapshots, there were about 22 fellows who could make it. Moderately effective!

A bed of roses. That's what it would be when we hob-nobbed and had a pow-wow. Accompanied by mouth-watering food and delish beverages to chow down, our conversations seemed to crack everybody up! We all laughed, including the wallflowers. Everybody got involved!

After feasting on everything nice, we headed for a karaoke bar. It was Family Fun Pandanaran (along with Inul Vizta, Family Fun has become a household name, at least for us). We rented a super big band room. Unbeknownst to us, it comprised two noteworthy parts. They were the singing section and the billiard area. The room had been set-up in such a way that the billiard area was on an upper floor of the room. We should climb the ladder to reach it.

We spent approximately 2 hours to chill out. We sang, we danced, we played pool. We couldn't be happier! Unfortunately, time simply flew when we were having a barrel of fun. What happened later was we should go home in a hurry since it was too far into the night. But, yes, we were utterly on cloud nine :")
